Ana Cristina Caelen is a California-born author of Mexican and Belgian descent. A multi-cultural and multi-lingual artist, she studied a BA in Music Composition at the Universidad de las Americas (Puebla) and completed an MA in Indo-Tibetan Buddhism at Naropa University (Colorado).

After teaching musicianship and improvisation classes at Naropa University, she worked privately with students as a sound therapist and voice coach for many years in Tijuana. Her most notable music composition to date is Of Roots and Trees, which has been part of the renowned Cuarteto Aurora’s contemporary musical repertoire in Mexico for over a decade.

Dedicated wordsmith that she is, her passion for language, mysticism, and hearty characters you can sink your teeth into led her to publish Wilding Souls, her debut fantasy novel, in 2022. Her characters demanded she continue their journey, so inwardly ecstatic, she wrote Burning Songs and Crowning Stars to complete the Tapestry of Selves Trilogy.
